Maybe it’s because he grew up near the Mexican border. Maybe it’s because of his sound. We don’t know the reason but we do know that people have been asking if Post Malone can speak Spanish.
It’s unclear whether or not Post Malone can speak Spanish, he’s been seen speaking one sentence of Spanish in one video (shown below) yet none of his songs are in Spanish and he’s never claimed that he can speak it.
Post Malone has been considered to bridge the gap between several different styles of music. He’s dipped his toes in hip-hop, rap, country, rock, and even heavy metal. When it comes to him and his music though, adding Spanish to the list hasn’t yet happened.
Spanish Versions
Aside from that one video of Post Malone speaking spanish, there is nothing to indicate that Post Malone can speak Spanish. He’s not Hispanic (he was in fact born to American parents) and he doesn’t have any Spanish songs.
That said, however, there are a lot of really good Spanish covers of his songs. We’re currently loving this Spanish version of “Better Now.”
Aside from one sentence, Post Malone hasn’t been known to be able to speak Spanish. It seems like the artist is able to achieve anything he puts his mind to so you never know, one day we may hear a Spanish Post Malone song.
