We don’t know where the question originated, but some people are asking if Eminem can surf.
Eminem hasn’t been known to surf. Not in the traditional sense of the word, anyway. Eminem has had his fair share of crowd surfing (and has experienced it at his concerts), but he doesn’t spend his time surfing in the ocean.
Eminem doesn’t surf, but he has inspired several different types of surfers with his music.
Surfing to Slim Shady
Eminem’s music is undoubtedly some of the best out there. Fans from around the world love the rapper—and he has several records to show for it.
Earning records of a different kind, some of the world’s best surfers have admitted to being huge Eminem fans.
Most notably, World Champ Surfer Carissa Moore loves listening to Eminem and Justin Bieber before she enters the water. Apparently this music is the right form of motivation for her, at one point she was the youngest woman to ever win the world championship in surfing.
When it comes to crowd surfing, however, it doesn’t always lead to success for Eminem fans. In 2001, 30,000 fans joined Eminem at a Glasgow outdoor music festival. As it typically does, crowd surfing ensued and 45 fans ended up injured.
Eminem cannot surf, but that doesn’t mean that people don’t like to surf to his music.
