Jamie Oliver was born in 1975 in Clavering, Essex, a village in England. His parents, Trevor and Sally Oliver are also British. They run an English country Inn in Essex still called The Cricketers.
He is well-known for his various television shows as a celebrity chef. He has been the host of 51 shows. Jamie is also known for his book series as he has thirty-one published cookbooks.
Lastly, Jamie Oliver is also an entrepreneur. In 2008, Jamie opened his first Jamie’s Italian restaurant in Oxford, England.
He went on to open forty-two restaurants throughout the United Kingdom and has locations around the world, including Australia.
Since opening, Jamie has lost some of his restaurants as they went into administration due to financial difficulties. This meant that 22 of 25 restaurants in the United Kingdom were shut down.
Most of his international franchises were not owned by him, so they are fine. The six in Australia, however, also closed down.
Jamie Oliver is still creating new television shows and cookbooks though. He has been hosting a recent show titled Keep Cooking and Carry On.
The show is about cooking and creating recipes in lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic.
So, although Jamie Oliver had restaurants in Australia and has been there, he is not Australian.

Chris Hemsworth is well-known for his role as superhero Thor in the Thor and Avengers series.
Liam Hemsworth is well-known for his role as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games films which were adapted from the books of the same name.
