She is always talking about having her coffee on Live with Kelly and Ryan, so we all know Kelly Ripa drinks coffee for breakfast but does she eat anything?
Kelly Ripa has a Get Off Your Acid Daily Greens drink, coffee with ghee, and slices of green apples dipped in almond butter mixed with cinnamon all for breakfast. Her breakfast is spread out over hours because she doesn’t like to eat solid food before hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan. This means that she is always on-air on an empty stomach.

Ripa’s Full Breakfast Routine
Like so many A-list celebrities, Kelly Ripa has a pretty interesting breakfast routine in the morning. She went over her full day’s eating routine in this Harper’s Bazaar interview.
The very first thing to note about Kelly Ripa’s breakfast, and all of her meals, is that it is super healthy. In the interview, she tells us that she starts her day off by getting up and drinking water blended with Get Off Your Acid Daily Greens.
Ripa eats an alkaline diet, which means low acid, so it’s no surprise that she is drinking this mixture first thing in the morning. Next, she takes supplements and vitamins from the company Persona Nutrition.
Ripa has been a celebrity ambassador to Persona Nutrition since early 2020. She has said that she is a fan of the company because they factor in their client’s age, eating habits, lifestyle, fitness goals, and health history.
After drinking her green juice and taking her supplements, Kelly Ripa makes coffee with ghee in it. Then she doesn’t have anything else until after the morning episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan has been filmed.
After filming the show, that’s when she takes the time to sit down and finish her breakfast. She eats green apple slices with cinnamon almond butter.
Ripa referred to it as “kind of like a porridge.”

Her Brunch & Avocado Toast Obsession
Outside of her very clean and healthy breakfast, Kelly Ripa doesn’t make very many exceptions to her diet. She continues her day with mostly plant-based foods and her next meal is brunch.
She refers to it as brunch because she eats it after breakfast, but before a reasonable lunch hour. For this meal, she has a big salad full of microgreens with avocado and at least one kind of nut.
In case you were wondering what exactly microgreens are, they are basically seedlings of edible vegetables. They are packed with a lot of nutrients that many health aficionados focus on nowadays.
On top of this, Ripa has had an admitted avocado toast obsession.
She said “The avocado toast kick of 2015 to 2017 was two years where avocado toast was pretty much the foundation of my diet. I had it with just about every meal. Sometimes I would fry an egg and put that on top.”
Kelly Ripa Doesn’t Do Cheat Days
On top of all of these rules and health focus, Kelly Ripa says that she doesn’t really do cheat days because they lead to a cheat lifestyle. She also works out every day of the week.
While this may seem crazy to some, she has said that her body craves being physically active. No one can deny that it is working for her either.
In 2018, Ripa was photographed while at the beach in a gold bikini and she looked amazing. However, she does want everyone to know that she’s “not a monster” when it comes to eating healthy and cheat days.
She’s said that she will have cake on her birthday and will eat a cookie at Christmas time. However, her other indulgences come in the form of chocolate covered almonds or cashews, just one or two.
That’s some pretty amazing self-control right there, only allowing yourself to eat a small amount of chocolate. That’s probably one of the biggest reasons why Kelly Ripa looks so good, she has unwavering control with her food.
