Larsson’s Top 5 Greatest Songs
After signing a three year contract with Epic Records in 2013, Zara Larsson has gradually risen to international fame. She first shot to fame in her home country of Sweden after appearing on the equivalent to America’s Got Talent.
In the earlier stages of her career, Larsson was more prominent in Sweden and the UK but as the years have gone on, she has sneaked her way onto the US charts with a couple of her many great songs.
Since making her breakthrough in the music industry, Larsson has received a plethora of awards, mainly in her home country of Sweden where she has received at least four Grammi (the Swedish equivalent of America’s Grammy) awards.
Let’s take a look at the singles that have ranked quite high up on Billboard that feature Larsson either as a solo artist or as a featured singer.
Zara Larsson – All The Time (2019)
As the fourth single from her third album, All The Time features an upbeat tempo with subtle mentions of heartbreak in its bright verses. It came close to topping the Dance/Mix Airplay chart, however it missed the position, instead reaching number two which is still commendable.
All The Time appeared in the charts of five different countries from the US to Latvia, where it reached number three on their Top 40 chart.
BTS – A Brand New Day ft. Zara Larsson (2019)
Released as part of the BTS World: Original soundtrack, this electronic hip-hop song soared up the ranks and reached number one on the World Digital Songs Chart after its release in 2019.
The single also performed quite well on the Finnish charts too, just making it to the top three as it reached number three on Finland’s Digital Songs charts.
Zara Larsson – Lush Life (2015)
Larsson’s 2015 hit Lush Life was a success in Europe in places including Germany, Poland and Sweden to name a few, and it also soared to number one on the Mexican Airplay chart shortly after its release.
Some might describe the song as annoyingly catchy and that’s probably a fair thing to note about the song, and perhaps Lush Life’s annoying catchiness is why it is one of Larsson’s most well-known songs to date.
Zara Larsson – Never Forget You ft. MNEK (2015)
Zara Larsson’s hit single Never Forget You featuring the British singer MNEK reached number one on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, but it just missed the top ten in the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs of the 2010s when it reached number 13.
The song itself was a success and it went on to win three awards at the 2017 American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) ceremony, and it became Larsson’s third single to receive over 500 million streams on the music platform Spotify.
Clean Bandit – Symphony ft. Zara Larsson (2017)
As the sixth single from Larsson’s second album So Good, Symphony was an instant chart success, reaching number one on the US Dance Club Song chart. Symphony was more popular in the UK and in Sweden, where it topped the charts almost instantly after its release.
