Post Malone is one of the biggest names in the game and some people are wondering if he’s left handed.
While there isn’t a verified answer of whether or not Post Malone is left handed or not, there are several videos that indicate that he is in fact right handed. He’s an avid guitar player and his strumming indicates that his right hand is dominant.
We can also look to a few other hints about Post Malone’s handedness—including which hand he generally smokes cigarettes with. While some people wonder what hand Post Malone commonly uses, more people are interested in the tattoos on his hands.
Post Malone’s Left Hand
Post Malone isn’t left handed, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t talk about his left hand! The rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, has one tattoo on his left hand that a lot of fans are talking about—a portrait of John F. Kennedy, Jr.
Post’s political side has come out when speaking about this tattoo in interviews. He reportedly loved the president and thinks that “people should model their Americanism after JFK.”
Just below the JFK portrait is a tiny eagle. This joins two other eagle tattoos on Post’s body.
He also has barbed wire (similar to like what is on his forehead) on the back of both hands.
On the inside of his left hand? There’s word “WHATEVER” in child-like writing.
Post Malone’s Right Hand
Post Malone joins the 70-95% of people who are right handed. His love of tattoos extends there, too.
He’s got a grizzly bear face taking up most of his right hand. It’s got an open mouth and looks pretty aggressive.
In an interview, Post said that the tattoo was inspired by Justin Bieber. He said that when the two were in the studio he asked him if tattoos hurt and after Bieber responded that they didn’t. Post then decided to get some himself.
It isn’t just the back of his right hand that has a tattoo. On his right palm, he has the word “NEVERMIND” tattooed in large letters. Below that, he has a skull and crossbones.
It appears that these tattoos have either faded over time, or Post has tried to get them removed with laser treatment.
Some of Post Malone’s coolest tattoos are in places you’d never expect them—his knuckles.
Believe it or not, most of Post’s knuckles are covered with portraits of some of his favorite artists. Elvis Presley is on a knuckle on his left hand, along with Kurt Kobain.
As for some of the other famous artists that made it on Post Malone’s fingers? John Lennon, Dimebag Darrel, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bankroll Fresh, and George Harrison are also there.
Below the portraits, Post has the words “REST EASY” on the fingers of both of his hands.
Hands with a Story
So, now we know that Post Malone isn’t left hand, but it certainly doesn’t mean that that hand isn’t worth discussing. Post Malone’s 68 tattoos tell a story—and we’re excited to see where his body art takes the star.
