Judging by her song “7 Rings”, Ariana Grande has only one rule when it comes to shopping – “I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it.” Did she apply that rule to private jets and ended up buying one of her own?
There’s no evidence that Ariana Grande owns a private jet. With a net worth of approximately $150 million, the Grammy-winning singer can afford flying on private jets, but she’s yet to invest her fortune into buying one.
Private Jet Adventures
Ariana Grande has a pretty grueling touring schedule so it’s not much of a surprise that she often travels on private jets. The singer took things one step further in 2019 when she reportedly flew two of her dogs to Glasgow to make her company.
A source close to Grande told The Sun that she wanted her pet dogs Myron and Toulouse to reach Glasgow three hours ahead of her so she could feel right at home. The singer has been dealing with anxiety and depression and wanted puppies by her side to help calm her nerves.
The Sun also reported that Grande rented a private room with a sunken-bath Jacuzzi, sauna, and roof garden for Myron and Toulouse which set her back by around $3,000 a night. They were “well looked after by a minder during their stay” and offered a wide range of tasty treats.
Myron and Toulouse aren’t Grande’s only pets. The singer has a total of nine dogs, mostly rescues, and a pet pig called Piggy Smallz that she adopted while still dating Pete Davidson.
Ariana Grande’s Net Worth
Ariana Grande works hard so her pets could have a good life, and she accumulated a pretty impressive fortune over the years. Celebrity Net Worth estimated her net worth at around $150 million, and it’s highly likely this number will only go up in the years to come.
Forbes estimated that Grande made $72 million between 2019 and 2020 alone. She reached no. 17 spot on their list of the highest-paid celebrities of 2020, and was also the highest-paid female musician of the year.
Grande earned most of her fortune through album sales and sold-out tours. Her Sweetener World Tour grossed $146.4 million in 2019 and it’s been reported that she received $8 million to headline the Coachella that same year.
Grande also makes a fortune through endorsements, and the list of brands that she collaborated with includes MAC Cosmetics, Reebok, Givenchy, T-Mobile, Apple, and many more. She launched several fragrances with Luxe Brands and started plotting her own beauty line in 2019.
It also doesn’t hurt her case that she’s currently the most-followed woman on Instagram. Business Insider reported that Grande can make up to $996,000 per post on this social media platform.
Ariana Grande’s Spending Habits
It’s no secret that Ariana Grande is a huge fan of retail therapy since one of her biggest hits tackles this issue. “7 Rings” was inspired by a shopping spree at Tiffany’s with her best friends, and she explained how this song came about in an interview with Billboard.
“Me and my friends went to Tiffany’s together, just because we needed some retail therapy… We bought seven engagement rings, and when I got back to the studio I gave everybody a friendship ring. That’s why we have these, and that’s where the song idea came from.”
In addition to spoiling her friends, Grande mostly spends her fortune on real estate. She bought two new homes in 2020 alone – a newly-built Hollywood Hills home worth $13.7 million and a Tudor-style mansion in Montecito for $6.75 million.
Grande also splashed out $16 million on an apartment in Manhattan, which she shared with fiancé Pete Davidson before their split. She’s also no stranger to lavish vacations and reportedly spent $10,500 per night on an Airbnb in Colorado back in 2017.
