Over the years, many fans have wondered where Kim Kardashian gets her Hollywood smile.
Kim is known to have had various cosmetic surgeries and although she has never admitted it explicitly, it is highly likely that she has veneers.

Dr. Kevin Sands
Kevin Sands is a cosmetic dentist based in Beverly Hills and Dubai and is said to have worked on most of the teeth in Hollywood, including Kim’s. A 2018 article written by Alanah Joseph outlines the practice of dentist Dr. Kevin Sands.
Sands tells Joseph, “ninety percent of my business is veneers…I do 10,000 veneers a year. That’s my specialty. I’m doing veneers every day.” Although the article doesn’t evidence Kim as having had veneers, one can only assume that she has. Especially since Kevin has also shared that, “to get the Hollywood smile, to be honest, is to get porcelain veneers.”
Moreover, Kim and Kevin can be seen together on his Instagram page below, the caption explaining that Kim had a “chipped tooth” that Kevin kindly fixed before the celebrity’s big “Las Vegas trip this weekend”.
Dr. Kevin Sands not only treats Kim but many other celebrities, including, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Miley Cyrus, Amber Rose, Iggy Azalea, Shay Mitchell, Megan Fox, Tyga, Justin Bieber and Robert Downey Jr.
Hi Smile Endorsements
To keep Kim’s teeth sparkling white the celebrity also tells her fans that she uses the popular Hi Smile teeth whitening kit. She can be seen in multiple Instagram posts endorsing the product, along with her sisters in their own posts.
The family have been criticised for pushing controversial products, like waist trainers, teeth whiteners and weight-loss tea, on their young audience. However, Kim defended her family in an interview with New York Times, arguing that, “if there is work that is really easy that doesn’t take away from our kids, that’s like a huge priority, if someone was faced with the same job opportunities, I think they would maybe consider.”
Kim also added that, “you’re going to get backlash for almost everything so as long as you like it or believe in it or it’s worth it financially, whatever your decision may be, as long as you’re OK with that.”
Kim and Kanye’s Grills
As well as having veneers and teeth whitening kits, Kim and Kanye West appear to be a big fan of grills. In 2010 Kanye was seen on the Ellen DeGeneres show, discussing his new gold and diamond teeth.
Kanye claimed to have had his real teeth pulled out and replaced by a set of diamond ones. When Ellen checks to confirm he assures her, “no it’s like replaced my bottom row of teeth” and when being questioned why he replies, “I just thought diamonds were cooler.”

However, many people have doubted that Kanye’s teeth were actually yanked out. In 2015 New York based dentist Dr. Ramin Tabib said, “I couldn’t imagine any dentist that would actually be convinced to extract someone’s teeth to replace them with diamonds.
This borders on malpractice.” And several others have agreed. It was not till years later that Kim decided to get her own “grillz” put in. In early 2019 Kim decided to also have diamonds put across her bottom row of teeth, with a silver diamond cross in the center of her top teeth, a nice touch.

All in all, there is no explicit evidence that Kim has veneers, however, from observing her pictures, comments from her cosmetic dentist, and the amount of cosmetic work she is known to have done, it is fair to assume that Kim has veneers.
