Snoop Dogg’s success as a rapper has given him a hefty fortune, some of which he chooses to spend on expanding his collection of cars. But how many does he own?
The number of cars that Snoop Dogg owns, or used to own, is thought to stand at 15, although this number is subject to new additions. Snoop Dogg is known for his avid appreciation for impressive vehicles, and his collection includes many customized cars.
Read on to learn more about the cars in Snoop Dogg’s collection and some of his customizations.
Car Collection
Snoop Dogg’s love for flashy cars is well known. A music mogul, Snoop has amassed a fortune which has allowed him to drop some of his cash on expanding his collection of cars.
Cars have become a huge part of Snoop Dogg’s public image and often appear in his Instagram posts. He’s even been known to give cars to friends and family.
Though the exact number of vehicles in his collection is unknown, especially as cars are frequently added, AmoMama has identified 15 cars that the rapper either owns or used to own.
Snoop’s passion for cars is not limited to a particular make or model, but he does admit a particular fancy for Cadillacs. He told BBC radio, “I collect a lot of old school cars, cos when I was growing up I used to see Cadillacs with nice-looking interiors and I always wanted to have one”.
It’s not surprising then that Snoop has more than one Cadillac in his collection. He has a customized 1974 Cadillac Snoop DeVille Lowrider, a 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, a Cadillac Escalade, and a 1967 Cadillac DeVille, also customized.
Snoop Dogg has a Ferrari 458 Italia in his collection along with a Rolls-Royce Ghost. He also has both a 1966 Pontiac Parisienne and a 1967 Pontiac Parisienne Convertible.
His collection doesn’t end there, and also includes a Chrysler 300C and a Tesla Model X, among others.
Customizations
Snoop Dogg doesn’t just love to own cars, he loves to customize them too. Snoop Dogg’s modifications make his cars truly personal and add his own style.
When it comes to customizing his cars, Snoop considers tires, rims, paintwork, murals, lights, interior, and more. The result is a collection of one-of-a-kind cars that reflect Snoop’s personality and interests.
A massive Lakers fan, Snoop Dogg customized his 1966 Pontiac Parisienne to honor player Kobe Bryant, before giving him the car. Other iconic players, along with Snoop himself, are painted on the hood whilst the car is painted purple and yellow, to represent the team colors.
Dubbed “the ultimate fun ride”, one of Snoop’s other customized vehicles is his Polaris Slingshot, which has a starting price of $26,199. The car has three wheels, no roof, and no doors and has a custom chrome vinyl wrap, and has been named ‘the cripmobile’.
As for who handles the customizations, Big Slice is Snoop Dogg’s right-hand man and finishes Dogg’s various vehicles to his specifications.
Speaking with Low Rider Network in 2004, Snoop Dogg explained the customizations process: “I tell Slice how I want it to look like, what color, what kind of picture (mural), what kind of rims and tires, and what kind of system [should be] in it. [Then] he comes back like a magician with it already made!”
Nicknamed ‘Brown Sugar’, Snoop Dogg’s 1967 Cadillac DeVille was one of Big Slice’s projects and has two chandeliers hanging over the backseats. One of Snoop’s prized possessions, Brown Sugar features the rapper and his two sons on the trunk and the front hood says ‘Snoop Dogg’.
