With a figure like Kim’s, the celebrity is no doubt constantly being asked about how she looks after herself, and stays looking so slim and in shape. Some have put it down to her diet.
Kim Kardashian is almost completely vegan. The reality star enjoys eating vegan and attributes the diet to her tiny waist, but despite having cut out meat entirely, she still sometimes eats dairy.
Read more below about how Kim Kardashian and family are making the move to vegan.
The Kim Kardashian Diet
Kim’s image is a large part of her success and so staying on the right diet is essential. She first announced her change over to plant-based on her Instagram story back in 2019. “I am eating all Plant based when I am home,” she told fans. Then, when the subject was brought up again a year later on Twitter Kim wrote, “I eat mostly plant based. No meat anymore.” And when asked what she eats in a day the actress added, “Oatmeal and vegan sausage for breakfast, vegan tacos are my fave for lunch! Salads are good.” Take to Kim’s Twitter to read more about her day-to-day food habits, likes, and dislikes: https://twitter.com/KimKardashian.
Meanwhile, on an Insta story tour of her nine refrigerators, which seems more than a little excessive even for Kim, fans were shown shelves stocked with fruits, vegetables, and other plant-based products. According to Kim, the family chef, Marina, only cooks plant-based meals at the home these days. Other than North West, who is a pescetarian, the whole family eats mostly vegan.
What’s more is that she seems to be reaping the rewards; when asked by pal Anastasia Soare how it is possible for a mother of four to have such as small waistline Kim replied, “I think that honestly being vegan now helps”.
Kim’s Favourite Treats
Fans were surprised to find out that Kim eats junk food at all considering her tiny waist, but despite her strict diet and workout regime (1.5 hours in the gym every morning) Kim enjoys a cheat day as much as the rest of us. She told Twitter about her love for mini cinnamon toast Eggo waffles, and shared other favourite treats on separate occasions, both vegan and non-vegan, naming Cheetos, Doritos, and skinny french fries as her most-eaten. Kim is also said to be a big fan of hummus, Greek yogurt, nut bars, and even has a frozen yoghurt machine in her pantry!

However, not a month after announcing her plant-based diet, self-professed vegan Kim was caught in KFC trying to order chicken nuggets. Insider reports not a month after Kim told her Twitter followers about her new meat-free diet she was seen on her Instagram feed appearing to order chicken nuggets from a KFC in Paris. Her fans were further baffled when Kim posted a picture of Kanye West sitting on a black leather couch eating a bucket of fried chicken. It seems as though this celeb isn’t as plant-based as she claims to be.
Kanye West’s Totally Vegan YEEZY Sneakers
Whilst Kanye has affirmed his love for KFC chicken buckets, the musician wants to make his YEEZY shoes more eco-friendly by moving away from animal-derived materials. The new shoes are said to be a mix of petroleum-based ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) and algae. Using algae for the foam, Kanye would be the first to ever use the material for a shoe. Kanye planned on releasing his “Foam Runners” early 2020 but the project was never followed through.
So, even though Kim and Kayne enjoy eating meat-free and dairy-free from time to time, and are trying to make their businesses more environmentally friendly, Kim Kardashian’s veganism appears to be almost exclusively in the home, and so it’s fair so say the celeb is not vegan, despite her claims.
