The Crazy Life of Logan Paul
If you’re reading this, then we’re going to assume you know who Logan Paul is, for better or for whose. The media sensation started out his career on the now shutdown Vine app, in which he was very popular, but later moved to YouTube.
Between the years 2015 and 2021, Logan amassed over 22 million subscribers and over 5.7 billion views. With watch time estimates, if one person was to sit down and watch every video for the amount of time that he has watch time on his channel, it would be hundreds of years long. Mental.
Logan creates all kinds of content, starting with YouTube favorites like skits, vlogs, pranks, and typical YouTuber videos, but moved onto music videos shortly after. As of 2020, he also takes part in boxing at a professional level, where he debuted in a fight against fellow YouTuber KSI, which was watched by millions, becoming DAZN’s most viewed fight ever.
Logan also runs the popular podcast show Impaulsive, which features his friend Mike Majlak. In late 2020, the show even featured the world-famous boxer Mike Tyson who ate four grams of magic mushrooms on-air and then proceeded to talk about life. You can’t say the show isn’t original.
The Controversies
Now, it seems almost impossible not to talk about the controversies of Logan Paul. Any time you look him up, you’ll see evidence of what he has done, and we’re not condoning any of it. The suicide forest incident where he uploaded a video of a man hanging in the infamous Japanese suicide forest is not on.
Following up with participating in the highly controversial and dangerous Tide Pod challenging, randomly tasering two dead rats, and fake giving a fish CPR out of water in what many called animal cruelty. None of this is really okay or makes much sense to an average person, but he’s doing what he does.
Heck, even his Wikipedia page’s biggest section is about his controversies and the consequences of them.
However, to switch things up, we want to focus on what Logan Paul has actually done that’s good in the world or to the benefit of others. We like to focus on the good and positive aspects of life here.
Perhaps most obviously, he donated over $1 million to the Suicide Prevention charity, and while many people will probably argue this was the only thing he was able to do in light of redeeming himself, there’s no denying that this amount of money is going to do a lot of good in the world and can help save a lot of people.
That does seem to be all that he’s done in the public eye. Of course, there are videos on his channel through vlogs where he would meet and greet with fans, organize certain activities, and hold giveaways, but it does seem a lot of his attention goes into his content and business ventures.
Logan Paul: Boxer
Professional boxing has become a huge part of the Logan Paul brand ever since his fight with KSI back in 2019. Whereas he lost the fight over the course of the six rounds after the first match went to a draw, that hasn’t stopped him.
Logan is also due to fight Floyd Mayweather in February 2021. Floyd Mayweather is one of the biggest and most popular boxers in the world who has won many world titles over his professional career, all throughout multiple weight classes and has been ranked as the best pound for pound boxer twice over the course of ten years.
While it’s unclear whether Logan Paul believes in a God, he clearly believes in himself for taking on such a huge competition and for doing everything he does in his life, regardless of whether you love him or hate him, and it will be very interesting to see where his career goes over the coming years.
