Adele Adkins has been the voice of body positivity since the beginning of her career and is an admitted food lover. So what’s her favorite food?
Adele’s favorite food is lasagne. The Italian cuisine is rich with tomatoes and cheese and can be created with meat or only vegetables. The singer doesn’t only like lasagne. She has been known to carry spaghetti hoops and custard creams when she travels. However, it is hard to say if she eats any of this since her massive weight loss.

Lasagne, Pasta, and Italian Cuisine
Lasagne is a layered pasta dish that originates from Italy and is argued to be one of the oldest pasta dishes in the world. Lasagne is also Adele’s favorite food. Lasagne is a flat wide pasta with ruffled sides. It is usually made through the process of layering the pasta with tomato sauce followed by a layer of possibly ragu (a meat and tomato sauce combination, sometimes called bolognese) or cheese and more sauce, repeated to create a thick dish.
This main course is thought to have originated in the Italian city of Naples in the middle ages. In Naples, their style of lasagne is known as Neopolitan Lasagne. It is made with ingredients such as brown ribs, sausage, red wine, and hard-boiled egg.
Outside of lasagne, there are many many more famous Italian dishes. After all it is a country known for its food. The entire “Eat” portion of the book Eat, Pray, Love is about eating in Italy. The country boasts the world’s best pasta dishes like spaghetti and gnocchi. It is the birthplace of pizza, another dish from the Naples region.
On top of all of the savoury dishes from the country, they boast amazing desserts as well. First of all, they make their own ice cream known as gelato. The tube shaped deep fried pastry filled with a dessert ricotta filling known as cannoli hails from Sicily, Italy. A light layered cake dessert with coffee soaked ladyfingers is named tiramisu, which literally translates to “pick-me-up.”
It’s really easy to see why Adele is a fan of lasagne and Italian cuisine. These dishes all sound mouth-wateringly delectable.
Adele Likes Spaghetti Hoops aka Spaghetti-O’s
In March of 2013, Adele attended the Academy Awards and ended up winning the Oscar for her James Bond song Skyfall. The already award winning singer took home one of the most coveted awards in music composition. After the awards show, she was invited by Sir Elton John himself to attend his post-Oscars party, but the limelight shy Adele Adkins turned him down in order to go home.
As was reported by The Sun, “down-to-earth adele prefers spaghetti hoops to champagne.” They stated that Adele’s friends have said that she prefers to bring custard creams and spaghetti hoops along with her when she is traveling. The same article then goes on to highlight that her aunt, Anita Adkins, highlights Adele doesn’t get special treatment from her family. She said “Adele comes round and she’s still got to go and make her nan a cup of tea, I’m afraid.”
Adele’s Post Oscars In-N-Out Burger
So Adele doesn’t get any special treatment from her family, well they are family so that is to be expected. However, Adele has given some special treatment to other favorite foods of hers, specifically a Californian burger chain.
After that famous malfunction with the piano during her live Grammys performance in 2016, Adele needed to recover. How did she do that? Well she went and grabbed a burger at the famous joint known as In-N-Out Burger. She tweeted to her fans “Because of it though… I’m treating myself to an in n out. So maybe it was worth it.”
