Donald Trump’s hair is infamous. The world has been fascinated with his coif ever since he has been in the public eye.
Donald Trump’s natural hair color has been described as flaxen, a somewhat yellowish-brown variant of blonde. Even if one cannot quite put a finger on an accurate color description, one thing that can be said is that the color is unique.
People frequently speculate on whether he wears his real color or not. It seems to be quite a mystery; one which only he could clarify.
Hair Fallacy
Donald Trump’s hair is almost as notorious as he is famous he is. For as many stories as there are about him, there could be an equal number dedicated to his hair.
Speculation is rife that he wears a toupee, that he is balding and that he frequently colors his hair. In a piece published in The Intelligencer, Michael Wolff wrote that even Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka often made fun of her father’s comb-over.
As is his way, Donald Trump has expended significant effort to dispel these rumors time and again. His doctor has also confirmed that his hair is his own.
Hair Focus and The Media
May news articles are dedicated to debunking the mystery of whether there is an actual name for The Donald’s hair color. Some celebrities have also weighed in on how they think it could be characterized. An example from Sarah Silverman was “Tuscan Surprise”, and from Helen Mirren an Aperol Spritz.
Donald Trump’s hair has its own page on Twitter, created from as far back as 2009. Sometimes called HOTUS (Hair Of The United States), the posts are mostly satire.
There are numerous publications making different inferences about Donald Trump’s hair, one of which is Bustle. There was a time when he had brunette hair bit then it transitioned over the years to “blonde-to-brassy-to-orangey” hair.
Even talk-show hosts got in on the fray. Jimmy Fallon famously tousled his hair when he made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show in September 2016.
The Color Change
Whether his color is natural or not, there was a transition from his usual “off yellow” or “orange-blond”. In March 2020 while giving an update on the COVID-19 pandemic, Donald Trump appeared in front of the press sporting a new silver-colored hair-do.
As important as this briefing should have been, naturally, there was more buzz surrounding the new color than the message itself.
Social media users and the public at large even went so far as to say that the change in hair color was a political ploy ahead of Trump’s preemptive reelection campaign. Others still commented that perhaps his hairdresser was not available due to lock-downs from the COVID-19 situation.
Hair As An Extension of You
Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States and promotes himself as being the best, looking the best, and having a full head of his natural hair.
He believes these are all traits necessary to convey strength and confidence in a world leader. Evidently, Donald Trump uses the appearance of his hair as an outward sign of youth, vitality, and perhaps even virility.
