There are pictures of Emma Watson with a guy who looks like her could be her twin because the two look so similar. Does Emma actually have a twin though?
Emma Watson does not have a twin. Interestingly enough, Watson’s two younger half-sisters are twins. Nina and Lucy Watson are Emma’s half-sisters from her father. She has a younger half-brother named Toby Watson from her father. When her mother remarried, she gained two stepbrothers. Her only full sibling is her brother Alex, who looks strikingly similar to Emma.

Emma Watson’s Half-Siblings
Emma’s half-sisters, who happen to also be twins, are a lot younger than the Harry Potter star. Nina and Lucy Watson are the children of Chris Watson and Julie Watson. Chris Watson, of course, is Emma’s father. Julie and Chris also had a son, Emma’s half-brother, Toby Watson.
The age of Emma’s half-siblings isn’t really known, but it can be speculated that her twin sisters were born in 2004. That is because reports emerged in 2007 that they would be joining Watson on set of the television show Ballet Shoes at the age of three.
Her Step-Brothers
On top of having three half-siblings who are much younger than her, Emma Watson also has some step-brothers. After her parents divorced, Emma was raised by her mother, Jacqueline Leusby, in Oxford, England along with her younger full brother Alex. Her mother remarried and Emma ended up with not only a stepfather, but two stepbrothers.
This part of Emma’s family is much more private and the names of her stepfather and one stepbrother are unknown. However, she has referred to the other stepbrother in an interview before.
In 2012, she was interviewed about her role in The Perks of Being a Wallflower as the stepsister of Ezra Miller’s character. She said:
“My relationship with Ezra really reminds me of my relationship with one of my stepbrothers, David. We really relied on each other throughout that experience [of growing up] and confided in each other a lot. Because it’s a time of so many firsts, the first time you get your heart broken, it’s quite a shock and you don’t know if you’re ever going to recover and it’s never happened before. Those people who help you through experiences are really key.”
In the film, she and Ezra Miller perform a sibling created dance routine that their characters, Sam and Patrick, made up. It’s kind of reminiscent of that dance that Ross and Monica do in Friends, but way less cringey.

Alex Watson, Emma’s Brother
While Emma Watson has a lot of half and step siblings, she does have an actual full brother. Her brother Alex Watson is two years younger than Emma. He was born on December 15, 1992 in Paris, France, just like Emma. They are both the children of Jacqueline Leusby and Chris Watson, two lawyers from England.
Alex had a brief appearance in a film alongside his sister. In the 2007 Harry Potter film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Alex was an extra and appeared as a Hufflepuff student. Other than his stint on Harry Potter, he also modeled in a Burberry ad campaign with Emma and appeared in a Pixie Lott music video. Since these brief roles, Alex hasn’t really appeared in anything and it seems he has instead decided to stay out of the limelight.
On her fame’s effects on family life, Watson told Vogue UK “I am a sister. I belong to a family… There’s a whole existence and identity that I have, actually, that’s really important and weighted and solid…”
