Vin Diesel, as the actor and producer who specializes in action movies such as “The Fast and the Furious” series, is known for being a tough looking dude. However, the answer to this question might surprise you.
Vin Diesel does not have any tattoos. Despite their growing popularity, among both famous celebrities and common folk alike, Vin Diesel does not have any body art.
You might be confused by this if you have seen the movie, “xXx,” that Vin Diesel stars in. While he has a tattoo of his character’s name across his character’s stomach in the movie, it turns out that this is actually fictional, and it was just temporary to add something fun to his role.
You can see another seemingly realistic picture of Vin Diesel with a tattoo in his Instagram post that serves as an advertisement for the movie, using the Instagram link below.
Vin Diesel Shows Off His New Tattoo…Or Not
It is no secret that Vin Diesel was devastated when his co-star and dear friend, Paul Walker, died unexpectedly. The former actor had grown to be very close with Vin Diesel, and while it shook everyone up around the world, the shock hit Vin Diesel especially hard.
Because of the sincerity of the event and Vin Diesel’s memorials after that, many believed that he got a new tattoo in an effort to pay tribute to his friend who had gone too soon.
However, this was not the case.
Vin Diesel posted the picture on his Instagram as a reveal of sorts, containing a seemingly new back tattoo with wings containing eyes. His fans immediately went crazy over the seemingly touching tribute, thinking that the eyes were that of his late friend, Paul Walker, and the wings were because he had gone straight to heaven after his passing.
As it turns out, Vin Diesel got the temporary tattoo as part of his character in the new “xXx” movie.

I guess in his defense, you will never regret a tattoo that comes off after a few good washes.
In Front (and Behind) of the Camera
Vin Diesel does not just take his job in front of the camera seriously, spending hours to get meticulous temporary tattoos to better fit his character on screen. He takes his job behind the camera, as a producer, just as seriously-if not more so.
In fact, not many people know that Vin Diesel has his own film production company, called One Race Films. His company is the one that has produced films such as “xXx” and “The Pacifier.”
One Race Films was also involved, on a more minute level, with the “Fast and the Furious” and “Riddick” franchises.
It also owns a small video game development company, called Tigon Studios. You might know Tigon because of the games its developed within the Riddick franchise, or the game Wheelman.
Lastly, Vin Diesel owns a record label called Racetrack Records. It might not make a lot of money, but it feeds into Vin Diesel’s passion for the entertainment industry.
One can only admire the number of plates this man has spinning at all times. It is no wonder he seems so intense.
He is just as passionate behind the camera (and behind the scenes of other projects) as he is in front of it. His tattoos may be temporary, but there is no faking his passion for entertainment.
And that is something we can all be grateful for.
