Jennifer Aniston admits that she isn’t all that much of a cook herself. While she can cook, she prefers not to do so. Instead, she either buys packaged meals or has a cook prepare her meals for her.
We all remember that episode of friends where Rachel Green made a truly disastrous English trifle (beef, sauteed with peas and onions, then a layer of lady fingers, banana, and whipped cream), but Aniston doesn’t even try to cook all that often.
When She Does Cook, It Is Breakfast Foods
Aniston has admitted that when she does cook, it is usually breakfast foods – and one food in particular. It is called “Cuppa Eggs,” and it is really a poached egg in a cup. Eggs are pretty much as far as she goes when it comes to cooking. She will occasionally make avocado toast.
Jennifer said that she can also cook pasta, which is one of the only things she likes to make, but that recipe includes eggs too. According to Bon Appetit, her recipe includes “eggs, cheese, turkey bacon, and a little sautéed red onion and garlic.”
She Has One Guilty Pleasure
While the actress is very open about her healthy diet, she does have one guilty pleasure that she hasn’t been able to quit. While she’s thrown her favorite diet sodas out of her refrigerator, she’s quit fake sugar, and she’s ditched most sweets, she hasn’t been able to cut the Coffee-Mate creamer out of her diet.
She Has Two Private Chefs
As Jennifer Aniston is busy filming movies and television shows, she employs not one, but two private chefs. Jewels and Jill Elmore, sisters, serve as her personal chefs for day-to-day meals and dinner parties. The two have been her chefs for a long time, changing their menus to match with her strict dietary guidelines.
They revealed that her diet has a lot of fish, lean protein, fruit, and vegetables. She enjoys smoothies on a regular basis as well. Her chefs have been responsible for teaching Aniston to enjoy vegetables she used to dislike, particularly Brussel sprouts.
Food Is Just Part Of Jennifer’s Health
Jennifer has long been known to defy aging, and that is partly because of her healthy diet and busy schedule. However, it is only a part of her lifestyle. She admits that she gets at least 8 hours of sleep per night and she drinks a massive amount of water.
When she isn’t using her personal chefs, she has admitted to meal prepping so that she isn’t tempted to get take out or eat unhealthy foods. She keeps vegetables and fruit cut up in her refrigerator.
What Is Jennifer’s Cheat Meal?
Jennifer once admitted that her favorite cheat meal was Mexican food, but she has also said that it is pasta.
She told Elle Magazine that her favorite cheat food was tortilla chips. She prefers to dip them in guacamole but will eat them plain or with hot sauce.
Even though she has cheat days, they aren’t weekly or even monthly. Instead, she has them in moderation.
Once the spokeswoman for many different meal plans and foods, Jennifer Aniston doesn’t love to cook. However, she has learned how to make a few things over the years and tries to keep her diet as clean as possible, which makes it easier for her to cook.
